Why Primal Mobility? Hear It from Those We've Helped!

If you’re here reading this, it’s a high probability that you understand the importance of mobility training. You know the benefits that come from challenging your range of motion and strengthening your joints. With all the fancy Instagram reels these days, it’s hard to be on social media for 30 seconds without seeing something about mobility, but where do you even begin?

Sure, you can use any of these funky drills you see on social media, but what do you do when you are legitimately struggling with pain or discomfort in a specific area? You need real answers to your problems, which is a big reason as to why you’re probably here. You know that Primal Mobility offers direct solutions to common problems like this, but you’re wondering “is Primal Mobility worth the hype”? This is a valid concern that I would also be pondering, so I want to clear some things up and have the chance to show you why we believe that we deserve your trust.

So, Why Primal? Well, the beauty about the results we’re seeing back to back to back with our clients is that they last…even years after the client has stopped working with us. We’re helping people (who were probably in very similar situations that you are currently in) lay a new foundation that helps them feel like a savage under the barbell again. When a client comes to us after having “tried all the other mobility apps out there”, and they’re getting frustrated with the process, we know that we can’t let our people down.

In this post we’re going to review three different situations where Primal helped athletes overcome pains that held them back in the gym, or even started taking them out of the gym altogether.

Let’s dive in!

Breakthroughs with Primal Mobility

Let’s take a look at three stories of our users, and how Primal Mobility has helped them overcome their mobility issues.

From Chronic Hip Discomfort to Hips That Feel 10 Years Younger

Satya decided to give Primal a try after struggling with hip pain and discomfort, which was holding her back in her training. Not only was it impacting training, but it was also creeping into her everyday life activities. She wanted a clear plan and accountability, and she was able to get both by working 1:1 with a Primal coach.

It was clear from her assessments as well as her voicing that she had a “wonky” hip that hips were the primary focus for her mobility training, though we did include some upper work and a little bit of ankle work here and there to work some other imbalances and limitations.

She says the difference, now, is “dramatic” and that her pain has vanished. Squat numbers are going up and her “hips feel ten years younger.” She is now more confident in how she moves and is able to do everything in her training again rather than needing to modify.

From Chronic Low Back Pain to Pain-Free Squatting

Rachel came to us after spending about a year of seeing multiple physical therapists and spending money out of pocket to try and fix her pain from a low back injury. This injury prevented her not only from performing well in her sport of weightlifting, but it also caused issues with everyday tasks as simple as picking up a laundry basket. After seeing multiple therapists over that time, she saw very minimal results and relief for her pain. She had begun lifting again but still had tailbone, hip, and low back pain in most movements.

She decided to give Primal a try as a last-ditch effort, and quite literally within a week, she was lifting with ZERO pain. By the end of her first month with Primal, she was back to hitting her old numbers for Snatch and Clean & Jerk - which she had not touched or come close to in almost a year.

Working with Primal allowed her to compete and make it to her first Senior Nationals with no pain.

From Shoulder Pain to Snatching Heavy with Confidence

Ibrahim battled with overhead mobility issues for years, which greatly impacted his ability to secure his shoulders in his overhead lifts. He has plans to continue competing and has a goal of going semi-professional in the sport of CrossFit.

After reviewing his assessment videos, it was evident that he was very limited in his thoracic spine, shoulder flexion and external rotation, and hip rotation - all of which can impact his overhead capabilities. Keeping that in mind, we tackled these areas in his mobility training.

Within a matter of a few weeks working with Primal (bekah), he was amazed at his progress. “The improvement was evident in my push jerks and snatches, which now feel significantly smoother and more controlled overhead. Additionally, I’ve noticed a positive change in my cleans and squats, with a more upright torso and posture.”

Ibrahim is a prime example of consistency paying off. He does all 5 routines programmed for him each week, and he is improving more and more each week.
