CHOOSE YOUR COACH
Programming As Unique As Your Mobility Needs.
Here at Primal Mobility, we help you achieve the strength and mobility so that you can keep doing the things you love most. We'll create a custom program designed for your unique needs and goals, with a focus on increasing functional strength with the barbell.

HEAD COACH MATT PHILI
“One of my top priorities in our coaching is education. I don’t want you blindly following our programs, I want you to learn the fundamentals behind our mobility work and be able to program for yourself down the road. I don’t want to fix you, I want us to teach you how to fix yourself!
In my coaching style I use a lot of isometric loading of the joint to build strength and stability within new ranges of motion. This technique forces longer lasting results and injury prevention.”
COACH CHELSEA
"Hey y'all! I am Coach Chelsea! I grew up in upstate NY and moved to Raleigh NC after earning my Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the young age of 24.

COACH MEGAN
“Hey everyone! My name is Megan Flaherty and I am one of your Primal Mobility coaches. I also work as a Physical Therapist in Northern Virginia. Growing up I played lacrosse and played in college for 2 years before I got into weightlifting. I currently train bodybuilding style but start all my workouts with compound lifts. My mission as a Primal coach is to help the everyday athlete prime their joints so that they can continue to thrive in life.”

COACH ROBYN
“Hi y’all! I’m Coach Robyn! I currently reside in Raleigh, NC, but am originally from New York. Growing up, I competed in the sport of gymnastics for nearly 10 years and then decided to coach it for about 6 years. I received my Bachelors Degree in 2017 in Sociology with a Physical Therapy concentration from SUNY Oneonta before I moved south to Raleigh in 2018. I then graduated from Nash Community College in 2020 with my Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Degree. I currently work as a PTA while also competing as an Internationally Elite powerlifter in my weight class.
I’ve joined the Primal team in hopes to help teach as many people as I can learn to understand their bodies better and perform their sport (or just live life) pain free. I am happy to work with anyone who is seriously dedicated to improving their life, but my strong suit lies with powerlifters and strong(wo)men.”
COACH V
“My name is Virginie! If that’s not in your vocabulary, just call me Coach V. I’m primarily a CrossFit athlete but I love to dabble in different sports to elevate my fitness. I’m also a Physiotherapist from Canada that works with a wide range of people, including athletes, to help them restore and make the most of their mobility, function, and well-being. I’ve joined Primal Mobility as a Coach to do the same and I hope you learn a lot about yourself along the way!”

"I've been with Primal for about a month and it has already proven to be one of the best investments i've ever made in myself."
